Prior to pursuing therapy, I worked as a registered nurse and still hold an active nursing license in Tennessee. I worked within a variety of specialties, including fertility, labor and delivery, medical-surgical nursing, and case management. I have always had a passion for women’s health and helping others, and my work has evolved from a focus on the physical, to the integrated well-being of my clients. I believe we are all a culmination of many parts, none of which exist in a vacuum, and understanding this interconnectedness is paramount to change.

In my work as a therapist, it is exceedingly important to me that my clients feel seen, heard and welcomed. I have expertise helping clients through perinatal mental health issues, women’s issues, anxiety, depression, relationship distress, trauma, identity and values work, betrayal and more. In addition, my experience in healthcare has given me unique insight to be able to work with those navigating medical issues, as well as with healthcare workers facing burnout and work stressors. 

My style is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, integrating somatic and relational approaches to create meaningful, lasting change.
